Kitchen Assistant / Household Staff-Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Centre (www.arunachala.ie)

Responsibilities: •Assist in preparing and serving Ayurvedic meals in accordance to suggestion by Ayurvedic Consultant. •Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area. •Assist with kitchen inventory management, including stocking ingredients and utensils. •Ensure all food safety protocols are followed. •Support in cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment and utensils. •Collaborate with chefs and staff to ensure timely meal preparation. •Maintain cleanliness and organization of the centre’s premises, including treatment rooms, common areas, and guest accommodations. •Assist in managing laundry and linen services. •Support staff in decision making re: household supplies and managing inventories. •Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of Ayurvedic treatment tools and equipment. •Provide assistance to guests and staff as needed to ensure a clean and welcoming environment. •Follow hygiene and safety protocols in all tasks. Skills & Qualifications: •Training in HACCP, infection control preferable. •Experience in a kitchen environment preferred. •Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness. •Good communication skills. •Prior experience or interest in Ayurvedic lifestyles is a plus. •Prior experience in household maintenance or housekeeping. •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards. •Discretion and professionalism in dealing with guests and staff.
