Clogher Valley Livestock Producers run one of Northern Ireland’s leading
livestock markets, operating weekly cattle and sheep sales for over 70 years.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Manager / Administrator to join
our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running
of the mart office.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining the market’s financial systems, including performing reconciliations and
control accounts. Sage experience would be advantageous
• Dealing with customers to help with any queries
• Working with software providers to ensure our auction systems run smoothly
• Dealing with permits for livestock movements
• General record keeping and administration
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has excellent organisational skills and has a good eye for detail
• Has experience working with numbers or bookkeeping
• Has strong communication skills and can provide good customer service.
• Is comfortable using computer software and learning new systems
• Is a team player who is adaptable and can work well with others
• Has experience working in a livestock market or other agricultural environment
(desirable, but not essential).
Training on specific systems will be provided.
Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Wednesday o ).
Some flexibility is offered except on sale days (Thursday and Saturday).
Salary:
Competitive, depending on experience.
