Farm Manager - Connollys Organic Eggs Limited

Connollys Organic Eggs Limited is currently seeking to recruit 1 Farm Manager to work full time in Derryhellan, Carrickroe, Co. Monaghan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the poultry farm while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, production, quality and regulatory compliance. Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Managing the day-to-day operations of the poultry farm to ensure efficient egg production. - Overseeing the care, welfare, feeding and health of laying hens in accordance with animal welfare and biosecurity standards. Supervising and coordinating farm staff to achieve daily production targets. Monitoring flock performance, egg production and maintaining accurate farm records. Ensuring compliance with health and safety, food safety and organic farming standards. Inspecting and overseeing the maintenance of poultry houses, equipment and farm facilities. Other Details: Minimum annual remuneration: €36,605 Standard working week 39 hours. Training in English language skills, company operating procedures will be provided.
