Retreat Nursing Home Limited - Retreat Heights, Athlone, Westmeath, N37 DK07, Ireland Is seeking for 1 Health Care Assistant Main duties: * Assisting patients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and grooming while respecting dignity and promoting independence. * Taking and recording vital signs and observations and reporting any changes in the patient’s condition to the nurse in charge. * Assisting with meals and fluids, and monitoring intake to ensure patients receive adequate nutrition and hydration. * Following infection prevention procedures, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring safe disposal of waste. * Accurately documenting care provided and sharing important patient information with the healthcare team during handovers. Qualification required: QQI Level 5 in Care of the Elderly or QQI Level 5 Home Care Assistant. Contract type: 24 Months 39 hours per week/ Annual Salary €32,691.00 / €16.12 per hour
