Lakeland Town and Country has established itself as a leader in the field of Agri supplies in Co. Longford and beyond. We are now looking for an Assistant Manager in our Longford Store. The Position is full time and the candidate should be highly motivated and a good communicator. You will: • Have an Agricultural qualification, preferably to Degree Level. • Have a strong working knowledge of different farming systems and technical understanding of farm inputs. • Have excellent communication skills. • Have worked in a Retail Environment at Supervisory/Assistant manager level. • Be Customer Focussed. • Demonstrate strong analytical skills. • Have the ability to bring other members of the team with you and lead by example. Duties and Responsibilities are as follows: • Managing Sales across all sectors • Logistics management across the business. This will include direct to farm deliveries, Purchase orders, Optimising stock levels, stock forecasting. • Dealing with customers and managing customer enquiries. • Provide technical advice and support on all farm inputs across Dairy, Beef, Sheep and other enterprises. • Stock control and Merchandising. • Achieve sales targets set out by the store manager. • Credit Control. • Implement all Training and Health & Safety measures in co-operation with the Store Manager
