Installation Team

At Pearson Milking Technology we have been manufacturing and developing quality milking equipment for over 75 years in Athy, Co Kildare. Through ongoing research and development, we have expanded the product range to develop cutting edge technologies for both Irish and International markets. We now have 2 opportunities on our Installation Team. This is a blended role that will involve working at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Athy, Co. Kildare as well as working on some brilliant dairy farms in Ireland and internationally. The Role: • Installation of new parlours and other equipment (feeding systems, drafting equipment, etc.) into new and established dairy enterprises • Ongoing maintenance and repairs of existing Pearson Milking Technology products About You: • To have experience or a qualification in: welding, fitting, electrical, plumbing or fabrication would be an advantage. • A background in engineering, agriculture or the dairy industry would be an advantage. • Have good practical skills and be highly motivated. • Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. • Be confident to work on own initiative as well as being a team player. • Be flexible to work overtime and varied roles in different departments if required. • Have pride in own work and maintain a high standard on all projects. • Be organised and able to work well under pressure. • The ability to MIG, TIG & MMA welding would be an advantage.
