About us

TFM was estasblished in 1982 by Jimmy and Joe Butler. Very soon after opening their first depot at Barna, Templetuohy TFM was appointed John Deere dealers in 1983. Since then TFM has grown to a 6 depot dealer group. With outlets located at Templetuohy (head office), Clonmel, Portlaoise, Enniscorthy, Kilkenny and Tuam TFM now delivers its unrivalled service and support across 13 counties.

Meeting customers’ demands for new and used tractors and machinery while also providing service and support that customers can rely on time and time again is the reason TFM has become a synonymous name for farm machinery.

Our team

A team of over 100 people several of whom are with the company for over 30 years are the backbone of the service and support structure within TFM. Every year huge investment is made in training across all departments to ensure every member is equipped to provide the level of support customers require.

Along with John Deere TFM also supplies Lemken Tillage Equipment, Kramer Telehandlers, HiSpec Fertiliser Spreaders, Perard Chaser Bins and Muck Spreaders, SIP Grassland Equipment and Sauter – Front Linkages.

To support these products TFM has a 15 man sales team, carries €4 million worth of parts and a service team of over 50 people.
As technology continues to drive our industry TFM have invested heavily in creating a Farmsight department. 

Farmsight uses the combination of intelligent machines along with the latest communication technology and our dealer service packages. This ensures our customers get the very best utilisation from their machines in terms of machine performance, uptime and fuel efficiency while also documenting field and crop data.
