Dunleath Estates Ltd. - Farm Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Working Farm Manager to lead the dedicated farm team at Dunleath Estates, Ballywalter Park, Co. Down. The in-hand farm is at the core of a diverse estate of approximately 1200 acres, consisting of a modern dairy unit of 400 pedigree Holstein Friesians (plus followers), 200kW anaerobic digester and 250kW wind turbine, alongside a large commercial shoot and mixed woodland. The ideal candidate will hold the following attributes: • A proven track record in dairy farm management and crop production • Experienced in the operation of an anaerobic digestion plant • Organisational and practical skills of maintaining modern farm machinery/equipment • Interest in new farming techniques to manage biodiversity, soil health and carbon • Highly organised and a good communicator with strong HR management skills • Strong record keeping skills and attention to detail • Demonstrable financial awareness • A full driving licence (essential) In return, an excellent remuneration package is being offered, including salary commensurate with experience, Estate property and company vehicle.
