Working Farm Manager for Calf to Beef System, plus store lamb finishing

Job Specification & Role Requirements:
• Herd Health Management: Monitor health of the herd, including regular checks for illness, keep up to date with vaccinations & deworming schedules
• Record keeping: Maintain detailed records on herd health & farm expenses
• Grazing Management: Maintain a grazing schedule, monitor pasture quality and manage grazing rotations.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with animal welfare standards & environmental regulations
• Work Ethic: Be reliable, maintain good time keeping & attendance
• 8-hour shifts: No night-time working
• Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, & the ability to work independently. Knowledge of animal health & nutrition as well as very good ability to operate & maintain farm machinery. (Top class facilities and machinery)
• Full clean driver’s licence
