Dairy Herd Assistant

We have an opportunity for a dairy herd assistant for our 500 cow herd in Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath. The person will work as part of an enthusiastic team with key roles to include milking (shared roster), grassland management, animal health and husbandry. Milking is done in a 44-unit herringbone parlour. You will be involved with a forward thinking business in a great learning environment. This position is suited to someone looking for a long term career in dairy farming with a “can do” attitude and willingness to learn. Previous experience is required.
