HGV Mechanics required at Coughlan Haulage

Gerard Coughlan Haulage Ltd t/a Coughlan Haulage based at Clonan, Roscrea, Tipperary is currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our expanding transport and logistics operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure compliance with Irish road safety and transport regulations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults. Volvo Diagnostic experience is a big advantage. Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with RSA and CVRT standards Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations Work as part of a team to minimise vehicle downtime, at times you will also work independently so should be self motivated.
