Chemical Process Engineer

Rosania’s Housekeeping Service Limited, 41 Deerpark Square, Deerpark, Williamstown, Waterford,
is seeking 1 Chemical Process Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and improving chemical cleaning processes used across company operations.
* Assessing cleaning products to ensure safe and effective use on different surfaces and
environments.
* Developing procedures for chemical dilution, dosing, storage and handling.
* Reviewing Safety Data Sheets and maintaining appropriate chemical safety procedures.
* Monitoring chemical usage and recommending improvements to reduce waste and unnecessary
costs.
* Carrying out quality checks on cleaning processes and chemical applications.
* Supporting risk assessments relating to cleaning chemicals and workplace safety.
* Providing staff guidance on safe chemical handling, PPE and correct dilution methods.
* Assisting with the selection of suitable cleaning chemicals, equipment and materials.
* Maintaining technical records relating to chemical use and process control.
A relevant third-level qualification in Chemical Processes, Chemical Engineering, Industrial
Chemistry, Process Engineering or a related discipline is required.
39 hours per week
€36,605 salary annually
€18.05 per hour
