New Zealand - Experienced Farm Assistant Opportunity

We are an Irish run dairy farm situated in Invercargill in the South Island of New Zealand. We milk 850 cows through a 50 bail rotary shed, The shed has acrs, inshed feeding and an automatic drafting system. The farm is extremely well set up with a calving barn, very tidy and well maintained. We are looking for someone who is passionate about dairy farming and wants to build a career in farming, ideally you will have farming experience, be able to drive a tractor and have good animal husbandry skills. We are very willing to train and help fill any knowledge gaps. There are two positions available. These positions start around the middle of July and are for 12months. The farm is situated on the outskirts of Invercargill, which is a very busy rural city with lots of restaurants, shops, an Irish pub, fantastic sporting facilities and a friendly atmosphere. Accommodation is provided, the houses are all newly renovated and fully furnished. There is a very big Irish population in Invercargill and it is a great place to experience New Zealand from.
